Jacques A. Roussel is a litigation attorney who is joining our team in the Austin office. With a strong desire to serve his community and help people in need, Jacques worked for six years at the Kings County District Attorney’s office in Brooklyn, New York as an Assistant District Attorney with the Special Victims Bureau. While serving as a prosecutor, Jacques prosecuted hundreds of cases and worked tirelessly for victims of various crimes including sexual assaults, human trafficking, crimes against children, and other violent offenses.
Born and raised in France, Jacques came to the United States when he was 18. After High School, he attended the University of California, Los Angeles (2012), and then received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School (2015) where he was a member of the Moot Court honor society and participated in multiple competitions.
With any free time, Jacques is an avid traveler who loves to go out on adventures with his wife and two young children.
