CHAD COTTEN

Chad Cotten is the firm’s Chief Counsel. He has been practicing law for over twenty years as a litigator and trial lawyer. For most of that time he worked at Baron & Budd in Dallas, TX, where he represented individuals and families that had been harmed by exposure to asbestos. In addition to holding the manufacturers of defective  products responsible for the people they hurt, Mr. Cotten also handled claims involving grossly negligent employers, railroads, ships, wrongful death and dangerous premises. Recently, Mr. Cotten owned his own firm where he handled lawsuits dealing with diverse issues, including real estate fraud, medical malpractice, insurance coverage fraud, intentional torts and serious injuries.  M. Cotten graduated from the Dedman School of Law at SMU in Dallas in 2002. He has an BA in Government form the University of Mississippi. He grew up and lives in Dallas, TX.
