SATCHEL HOWARD

Satchel Howard received his bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a focus on studio art from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014, and obtained his paralegal certificate in 2015. He worked as a paralegal at Barnett & Garcia, PLLC from 2016 to 2021, when he was admitted into UNT Dallas College of Law. He received his JD in 2024.

Satchel has a passion for helping others and has interned at numerous free legal clinics over the course of his law school tenure, including Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office, and his law school’s community law center.
