I proudly and honorably served as a Texas Police Officer for approximately 15 years. Prior to that, I wrote songs, poetry, and sang with my family in our Church choir. I also performed as the lead singer in a Tejano group for several years.

However, my greatest achievement has been raising a family. My husband Rick and I recently celebrated 36 years of marriage. We have 4 beautiful children. Two of our children are members of the military. Two of them are successful business leaders. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without our strong faith in God.

My goals in life are to be better today than I was yesterday; to be a positive example for others, and to maintain a close relationship with my family.
