LAWSHOT ™ is a special advocacy program financed by the Moster Law Firm to pursue important social justice projects which benefit the environment, animal welfare, and society.

Our founder, Charles Moster, was inspired by an ingenious scientific project called “Breakthrough Starshot” with the goal of propelling a miniature laser-powered light sail at 20% of the speed of light to reach our closest star system – Alpha Centauri, within a few decades. At a distance of 4.37 light years from Earth (25.7 trillion miles), it would take a spacecraft with our current technology, 70,000 years to cover this distance. The very concept of Breakthrough Starshot celebrates the very best in human imagination to achieve a seemingly impossible task when there is sufficient focus just like a laser.

LAWSHOT ™ applies the same focus, creativity, and determination to achieve critical goals which benefit social justice. We’ve already selected our first target for the Summer of ’25 and it’s not Alpha Centauri – but a similarly challenging feat.
