MATT BURR (Of Counsel)

Matt Burr serves as a Senior IP, Patent, and Litigation Attorney for the Firm with a special focus in the area of biotechnology and related issues.

He is a graduate of the University of Houston School of Law (1988) and also pursued graduate studies in Molecular Biology and the Baylor School of Medicine.  He received his B.A. in Biology from the University of California San Diego.

Along with Charles Moster who heads the Firm’s Turing Technology Group, Mr. Burr is fascinated with the new developments and applications in the area of Biocomputers and the formulation of technology to support organic systems including Wetware.  Mr. Burr and the Firm are also equipped to obtain patents for clients in multiple bio-technical areas including pharmaceuticals, genetic research/application, and medical devices, among others.
