JOSH OGIDI-OLU

Josh Ogidi-Olu is a Texas-licensed attorney with nearly a decade of litigation experience representing governmental entities in criminal and civil matters. Throughout his career, he has managed high-volume caseloads, conducted hearings and trials, negotiated resolutions, and provided strategic legal analysis in complex and contested matters.

Prior to entering private practice, Josh served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted a broad range of criminal cases and regularly appeared before judges and juries. He previously served as an Assistant County Attorney with Atascosa County and as an Assistant District Attorney with Ector County, gaining extensive experience in courtroom advocacy, motion practice, witness preparation, legal research, and case management.

Josh has participated in approximately 22 jury trials, including about 9 as first-chair counsel and 13 as second-chair counsel. His litigation experience includes witness examination, evidentiary hearings, plea and settlement negotiations, legal writing, and trial strategy.

He earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Texas Tech University School of Law, his Barrister-at-Law qualification from the Nigerian Law School, and his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Benson Idahosa University. Josh is committed to providing thoughtful legal analysis, practical solutions, and strong advocacy for his clients.
