Erica Porter is a Senior Associate at Moster Law Firm with 20 years of legal experience focused on litigation, trial advocacy, and client representation. She is a skilled litigator dedicated to providing results-driven advocacy through strategic case preparation, effective negotiation, and persuasive courtroom representation. Ms. Porter combines strong legal analysis with practical problem-solving to protect her clients’ interests both inside and outside the courtroom.

Prior to joining Moster Law Firm, Ms. Porter served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office, where she represented the State of Texas and prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases. This experience provided her with extensive courtroom experience and the ability to navigate complex legal issues while upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law.

Ms. Porter’s litigation experience includes previously serving as Managing Attorney at Leggington Law Firm, where she represented clients in criminal matters throughout all stages of litigation, including pre-trial proceedings, jury trials, negotiations, and case resolution. She developed comprehensive legal strategies through detailed analysis of evidence, extensive legal research, and collaboration with expert witnesses. Ms. Porter also counseled clients regarding their legal rights and options, providing guidance to help them make informed decisions throughout the legal process.

In addition to criminal litigation, Ms. Porter has experience handling a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support issues, and related disputes. She has represented clients in hearings and trials, drafted pleadings and motions, negotiated settlements through mediation, and provided practical guidance to clients navigating complex family law matters.

Ms. Porter earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Prairie View A&M University.
