SENIOR ATTORNEY (HOUSTON)

AMY SCHADEWALD

Amy Schadewald is a senior attorney in the Houston office of The Moster Law Firm, where her practice focuses on residential construction defects and consumer protection claims under the Texas Residential Construction Liability Act and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. She represents homeowners in disputes with builders over defective work and the cost of putting it right.

She also handles the Firm’s cases with regard to the sale or leasing of fraudulent solar panels which also falls under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and the FTC Holder Rule.

Before joining The Moster Law Firm, Amy represented injured clients in personal injury matters. She investigated claims, reviewed records to evaluate damages, and negotiated settlements with insurance carriers. She helped clients understand what the evidence meant for their cases and weigh their options when it came time to decide whether to settle or pursue a claim further.

Amy also served as a managing attorney, supervising attorneys and case managers. She oversaw case development and helped teams identify gaps in documentation, prepare settlement demands, and determine when a case was ready for litigation.

A native Houstonian, Amy earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She majored in psychology and opera and completed all premedical requirements. She returned to Houston to earn her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.

Amy used to sing with the Houston Symphony and still takes the microphone whenever she gets the chance. These days, that usually means karaoke, which she makes time for as often as possible.
